🕉️ Psychedelic Soundbath & Kundalini Mantra Chanting
with Hari Dass
📍 Museum of Modern Renaissance — 115 College Ave, Somerville
🗓️ Friday, December 19th 7:00–9:00 PM (Doors open 6:45 PM Doors are locked at 7:15 to avoid disruption)
Immerse yourself in an evening of deep restoration and inner journeying through sound, vibration, and consciousness.
Join us for an evening of chanting and a gong sound bath. We will tap into the sacred reservoir of kundalini mantras to cleanse, renew and uplift. A deeply nourishing relaxation will honor the time of darkness and rest as we begin to welcome the return of Light at the winter solstice. ⭐️
Following this, layering Tibetan Singing bowls, gongs, and chimes to create a field of harmonic resonance that supports expanded states of consciousness.
As the frequencies wash over you, your brain waves naturally shift:
-
From the busy beta state (analytical, outward-focused thinking),
-
Into the alpha state (relaxed awareness, open creativity),
-
And then into theta (the deep meditative state where intuition, imagery, time slows down and cellular healing emerge).
In these slower brainwave states, the parasympathetic nervous system activates, slowing the heart rate, deepening the breath, and releasing stored stress from the body and subconscious mind. Many participants describe feeling a sense of timelessness, emotional clarity, and inner lightness that lasts for days after.
🕯️ Please arrive by 6:45 PM.
Doors will close and lock at 7:15 PM sharp to preserve the meditative container.
Bring:
-
A yoga mat
